First Baptist Church of Hoover has an unusually high percentage of Senior Adults. Each one has their own needs and concerns. Our church tries to reach out to each one as we know the needs and have the resources.
We have numerous widows and widowers with several couples married over fifty years. Their needs include health concerns, transportation, home maintenance, need for companionship and meaningful relationships. Throughout the year, our church undertakes many efforts to address these needs and seek to be a blessing to those who have placed their steps before us.
Activities
The Senior Adult ministry includes classes, studies, trips, luncheons and volunteer activities. All activities provide opportunities for Christian fellowship.
